Update to Past Papers

If you click on the links to the right for the past papers you will see I have added all of the mark schemes and the most recent examiner's reports.  You could use the mark schemes when completing past paper questions to check that you have answered the question correctly.  The examiner's reports are useful because they go through common mistakes made by candidates and also have examples of student's work that has been marked.  If you find the examiner's reports useful please let me know and I will upload the others.

Christmas Revision

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year and find some time to relax alongside the preparation for your exams in January.

Keep checking the website as I will upload all of the mark schemes for the past papers on the site and some other resources to help with your revision.

A number of students have not collected their mock exam from me.  Please email me and I will send you your grade and a summary of the areas you need to improve.  Again if you are stuck with anything please feel free to email me and I will help the best I can.

See you in 2013!

Hope everyone has a well deserved rest over half term.  Now is the time to get yourself organised (if you have not done so already) and start your revision.  I am going to add more information on this site including all of the past papers so keep checking for updates.  See you on the 29th (or the 24th if you are coming in for revision).

Milgram Study

Milgram's study is the most famous study in Psychology.  Click on the link to have access to the full text of the study published in the Journal of Abnormal and Social Psychology.  Remember it is an academic text so do not worry if you do not understand all of it!

Look to the right and there is a whole page devoted to Stanley Milgram.

Welcome to Pensby Psychology

This is the very first post on the blog for students studying Psychology at Pensby High School.  Check this site each week for links and information that will help you in your studies.

Revision Day

On Wednesday the 24th of October at 10:00 I will be going over the content for the whole of the Social Approach again.  As there is a lot to cover the pace will be quite quick but I will explain everything again.

This day will be very useful for people who are resitting Unit 1 or for any student who has missed lessons this year.  Everyone is welcome.
